Rick
began his insurance career as an underwriter for the Shelby Mutual
Insurance Company and then for the Kemper Group of Insurance Companies. He
received his broking training from Price Forbes and Company, Ltd., London,
England. Before becoming President of Thomas E. Sears, Inc. in 1976, Rick
held the office of Executive Vice President. Rick is a licensed
Massachusetts Property and Casualty Insurance Advisor. He has an
undergraduate degree in Insurance and Finance as well as an MBA, both |
Ben
joined Thomas E. Sears, Inc. in 1993 as a broker with our affiliated
company, U.S. Re Insurance Agency. In 2002 Ben became a broker in our
Excess Liability department. Ben also splits his time with the duties of
being the firms Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining our staff, Ben
worked as a Lloyds Casualty broker for Sedgwick
UK Ltd. Ben is a graduate of The College
of Wooster, the Aetna Institute and is
