Ron Kennedy joined the staff of the Thomas E. Sears, Inc. affiliate U.S. RE Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1986. Prior to joining U.S. RE, Ron was an Excess and Umbrella underwriter in the Boston office of Chubb & Son. Ron was elected Vice President of U.S. RE in 1996 and President in 1998. In 2002, Ron was appointed Vice President and department manager of the Excess Liability Department at Thomas E. Sears, Inc. Ron is a graduate of Northeastern University and the Aetna Insurance Institute.

Rita Bennett joined Thomas E. Sears, Inc. in 1980 upon graduation from Boston Business School . She assists in all aspects of the Excess Liability Department working on direct excess as well as facultative casualty reinsurance. Rita was elected Assistant Secretary in 1988, has completed several courses under the Insurance Institute program, and is currently a candidate for the CPCU designation. Rita was named Assistant Vice President in 1998.

Andrew joined Thomas E. Sears, Inc. in 2003 as a member of the Excess Liability Department where he currently plays an integral role in facilitating the renewal process. He works as an assistant broker on Excess Liability accounts and services mid-market property and casualty insurance programs. Andrew is a graduate of Boston College , with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He is a licensed Property/Casualty Broker in Massachusetts .

Allen joined Thomas E. Sears, Inc. in 1996 as a Claims Analyst within the Excess Liability Department. Prior to joining Thomas E. Sears, Inc., Allen worked as a Claims Coordinator for an underwriting manager for Lloyd’s of London for 6 years. There he handled Ocean Marine Cargo claims, performed loss surveys and loss prevention audits worldwide. Allen was promoted to Claims Manager in 2004. Allen is a Graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Electronics.
